Do you know our country's
motto is "In God We Trust"?
It was to be our guiding principle,
but somehow it has been lost.

Could it be that we are unaware
what our forefathers tried to do?
To instill a sense of trust in God,
regarding all that's right to do?

Did they trust in God to guide us,
long after they were gone?
Did they leave us a reminder,
to help us to carry wisely on?

If we all trust in God to guide us,
will our country soon grow strong?
Can we put Him in the forefront,
where He undoubtedly belongs?
